Bioluminescence / Night Kayak Tour

On this magical 2 hour night kayaking tour watch bioluminescent plankton light up the waters like fireflies as we paddle along the shoreline. Summer meteor showers often give us a show in the sky and bats swoop down to catch insects attracted to the light. 100% success rate for seeing bioluminescence on this tour 6 years and running!

Join us for our Foraging Forest Edibles Field Tour to learn about the food all around you! On this 2.5 hour walk through the forest you’ll learn how to forage for wild edible & medicinal plants, lichen and mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest!

Lower Lake Cushman Waterfall Kayak Tour

Kayak to a waterfall! Join us on this picturesque 90 minute paddle at the base of the Olympic National Park on Lower Lake Cushman / Kokanee. Beginner and kid friendly!

Kayak Crabbing & Lunch Guided Tour

On this half day guided kayaking adventure we paddle out and drop crab pots before journeying to a lovely secluded beach for a picnic and swimming, viewing beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way! On our return we pull up pots hoping for a bounty of Dungeness and Red Rock crab for you to take home for dinner! All equipment and bait is included!

Dosewallips Estuary Kayak Tour

On our Dosewallips Estuary Kayak Tour we paddle up the Hood Canal to the Dosewallips River Estuary and into the river sloughs to view a vast array of wildlife including seals, eagles, spawning salmon and sometimes our local herd of Roosevelt Elk!

Wild Mushrooms of the Olympic Peninsula – Field Tour

Join us for our 3 hour wild mushroom identification walking tour through the Olympic National Forest! Learn the basics of mushroom identification and how to sustainably harvest edible and medicinal mushrooms in the wild with our knowledgeable expert.

Kayak

Rentals / Rates

Single and tandem kayaks and paddle boards may be rented by the hour, for 24 hours, or for multiple days. Book on-line or walk-in. During the summer, walk-ins may head straight to Yelvik’s Beach. Let through the roped off driveway. If the Rental Attendant is not there during business hours just give us a call. We are only a few minutes away. Outside of peak season, walk-ins may need to stop in our office before heading to the rental beach.
