Eagles flock to our area in the spring when low tides and the Plain Midshipman Sculpin spawning season serves up easy pickings for Bald Eagles along the shoreline. Up-close encounters are common and the amount of eagles we see are astonishing!

On this half day guided kayaking adventure we paddle into Dabob Bay viewing beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way before arriving at a secluded cove for lunch, swimming and beach exploration. Lunches provided for $17.50 each or bring your own.
On this magical 2 hour night kayaking tour watch bioluminescent plankton light up the waters like fireflies as we paddle along the shoreline. Summer meteor showers often give us a show in the sky and bats swoop down to catch insects attracted to the light. Meet up at our office/store to sign in 15 minutes before your tour time. We will caravan to launch location.
On our Dosewallips Estuary Kayak Tour we paddle up the Hood Canal to the Dosewallips River Estuary and into the river sloughs to view a vast array of wildlife including seals, eagles, spawning salmon and sometimes our local herd of Roosevelt Elk!
Single and tandem kayaks and paddle boards may be rented by the hour, full day, 24 hours, or for multiple days. Meet us at our Yelvik’s Beach location for walk-in hourly kayak rentals almost every day during the summer, and weekends in spring. Let yourself through the roped off driveway. For rentals on other days, stop in our office for an attendant or call us to reserve.
