SUMMARY:Bald Eagle Viewing Kayak Tour
DESCRIPTION:American Bald Eagle / Bald Eagle Tour May 2020 \nBetween mid April and late June\, Hood Canal Adventures offers a 2.5 hour American Bald Eagle Kayaking Tour!  $115 per person. Our Spring low tides uncover the bounty of the sea\, and the plain midshipman fish spawning season serves up easy pickings for Bald Eagles on the beaches. During this time\, Bald Eagles from around the Puget Sound flock to the shores of the Hood Canal. It is not uncommon to see 40 to 60 Bald Eagles on the beach and perched in overhanging trees\, and some days we’ve seen over 100! Paddle to an active eagles nest and learn about Bald Eagles with our Biologist and Naturalists and be sure to bring your camera for some rare up-close photos of eagles in their natural environment! Other wildlife we have encountered on this tour include a humpback whale\, seals\, sea lions\, porpoises\, and a large array of intertidal invertebrates. Kid friendly! \nSpring brings us some windy days\, so if you’re visiting the area for a short time we recommend booking this tour in the beginning of your stay if possible. This may provide a window to reschedule around expected winds. After booking please look for a confirmation e-mail that includes important information and directions to our launch location. For information on what to wear\, our cancellation and refund policy and more\, see our Frequently Asked Questions page. \nTour group size will be between 2 and 8 people.  If you are a group larger than 8\, please call us to book 360-301-6310. \n\n\n\nBook Now
